I often procrastinate, and it mainly because I overthink everything before it happens, and I start to get confused and worried. To get over it, I would get up from what I am doing and go and take a walk to take my mind off the task to calm down for 15 minutes or so.
When I get back to the project, I tend to be more focused, and I will begin to recover my self-motivation and start to get focused on the task at hand.
